MEET THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THIS ALL HAPPEN!
Cherry Creek High School FBLA (“Creek FBLA”) was founded in 1981 and since then has touched the lives of many students. Year after year, Creek FBLA continues to maintain its high level of membership. With 93 members during the 2017-2018 school year, it was the third largest student organization on Cherry Creek High School’s (“CCHS”) campus. Our high school’s faculty and administration recognize FBLA as being beneficial to all students in bringing success beyond high school. After many years, Creek FBLA continues a proud tradition of excellence.

His Letter to the Members:
Greetings Creek FBLA Members,
Many thanks for another extraordinary year with Creek FBLA! Our journey in the past year has been exciting, rewarding and successful. We were able to uphold the legacy of Creek FBLA, build upon previous victories at district and state competitions, and continue our quest for success. As Chapter Advisor, I am proud of each and every one of you for getting involved in many Creek FBLA activities and continuing to pursue new goals.
As always, our members are dedicated to make an impact in our community. We ran several fundraisers to benefit the Denver Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. Additionally, our chapter also played an important role in the “Creek Day of Service”, a school wide community service activity.
A new direction for a chapter-wide activity is international membership development. Two members traveled to Hungary as FBLA ambassadors and were instrumental in implementing a foreign FBLA chapter at Toldy Ferenc Gimnazium, in Budapest. Members also traveled to Tanzania and founded eight foreign FBLA chapters at Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School, Alpha High School, Azania Secondary School, Jangwani Secondary School, Kisutu Secondary School, Mbezi High School, Shaaban Robert High School, and Tambaza High School in Dar es Salaam. Creek FBLA has “adopted” these new chapters and is mentoring both the Hungarian and the Tanzanian FBLA members.
As the new school year begins, your new team of chapter officers will continue to work together to increase membership, plan activities to enhance leadership development, and take our chapter to new heights.
Congratulations on a successful year! Thank you Creek FBLA for your support!
